Finite Element Simulation Analysis of Aluminum Honeycomb Sandwich Plate Penetration of Aircraft Under High-Speed Bird Impact

چکیده

Abstract In the process of flight, penetration caused by bird strikes will cause a significant decrease in bearing capacity material, or even complete loss, which lead to accident aircraft. Therefore, it is great significance study mechanical properties aluminum honeycomb sandwich panels at different angles high-speed impact. this paper, finite element software used numerically analyze process. impact test panel was carried out 90°, 75°, 60° and 45° speed 170m/s using 1.8kg birdshot. Through simulation analysis damage process, contact force energy absorption rate panel, found that when projectile penetrates plate, center be seriously deformed, torn penetrated failed. The angle has influence on peak decay force, effect increases exponentially with angle.
